May The Fourth Be With You
Today is Star Wars Day and that’s the best, but I didn’t bake anything for it. BUT I did bake this cake for my mom’s birthday yesterday, because much like Star Wars, she’s also the best. I like to call this cake Sprinkle Mountain, it’s a pretty basic chocolate cake with a vanilla buttercream. But the cake was super moist and fantastic if I do say so myself.
Back to Star Wars Day, I love that this day exists and I wish I had baked something for it, but I just didn’t have the time this week. But maybe I’ll do some late Star Wars Day baking. Mayhaps I’ll make Cloud City cookies in honor of Lando or maybe some bread pudding honoring the late Greedo. I bet Greedo loved bread pudding.
